CASE STUDY: " THE MACHINE" : Translating a brand from live-action theatrical to a comedic retro pixel-art look.
CASE STUDY: " LEGO MOVIE 2" : When pitching to develop key parts of the digital marketing campaign for The Lego Movie 2, we knew it would be important not only to deliver on the brand promise of the unique characters and situations imagined in the film, BUT ALSO on the core brand promises of LEGO itself.
We won the bid to develop a teaser site, an immersive animated official site, and two games.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE - AMAZON ALEXA GAME
In 2021, We designed and developed the 1st Amazon Alexa game utilizing both speech AND touch.
The game needed to maintain a strong brand presence, while avoiding the use of host likenesses, and also needed to operate  ultra-small footprint and was able to play at high framerate on Alexa devices.
So our team focused on clean, clear iconic visual elements from the show, and trademark audio call-backs (a real strength for Alexa). 
We worked hand-in-hand with Sony's internal Alexa team, who handled the majority of the back-end speech recognition and specialized Alexa code, while we created a slick, highly animated wheel of fortune game that was playable across all Amazon speech-enabled devices. 
SCENE SLAM STUDIO TOUR VIDEO PUZZLE GAME
In 2019, I designed a new type of video based puzzle game for Sony to use marketing theatrical releases, in which players would attempt to unscramble video clips as they played.  The entire experience needed to be a modern mobile game experience, authentic to Sony as a brand, while being able to extend to a broad range of titles, from Baby Driver, to Hotel Transylvania and Jumanji.  
I designed all aspects of the game, including concept, UX, economy and visual design. 
  
MECCANO MECCANOID APP
In 2016 I worked with the Mechanoid team at Spinmaster to design the user experience and artwork for the mobile app used to program movement and logic sequences for the Meccanoid 2.0.
  
SKILLIONAIRE MAKER MOJO
In 2023 Skillionaire approached us to design, UX and create the production art for their new educational game aimed at exciting young people to consider a career in advanced manufacturing.  Combining best practices for mobile game design with Skillionaire's established brand ethos, and a clean modern manufacturing look, we created the building blocks for an exciting and fun time-management game with multiple fast-paced mini-games inside.
